Brothers and Sisters all,

As a Brotherhood and Sisterhood, we are online tonight at 7PM playing trivia.

Last time we played trivia, Brother Phil beat and slaughtered Texas Sister Jennifer in the football category.
Got to love the irony.
If she shows, he will probably slaughter her again!

The physical building will be closed.

Our online host, Steve Dunkelberger

Go to the usual Google Meets room at 7 pm PST on Monday. ( https://meet.google.com/rzb-iigw-kfy)

Knights, Sisters and guests are welcome. ALSO and preferably on the second screen or digital device, go to http://www.kahoot.it

The required Game PIN will be generated and distributed on the Google Meets when everyone is ready to play. The Kahoot screen will be your "buzzer" to answer the questions by tapping the correct answer. More points are awarded the faster a correct answer is submitted. Each question takes about 10-15 seconds for everyone to log in and post the results. The winner of the round gets to select the topic of the next round, generally between 20-30 questions.

The weekend of September 11-13 has been designated as the second Sabbath of September, in which the Pythian Day of Divine Worship has been established. Subordinate Lodges are
requested to attend divine services in a body. Services may be conducted in a Pythian Hall or other suitable location, or the membership may attend services of their individual faiths in their
Houses of Worship.
Summers are, for many of us, a time of rest and enjoyment, but often a time of trials as well.
Disasters such as floods, storms, and wildfires sometimes disrupt our lives, or the lives of our neighbors. September 11th also marks the 25th anniversary of the day that marked the United
States with a sad reminder that violence and hatred can scar an entire nation.
It is at this time that we, the Knights of Pythias, now come together and put into our Prayers the names and memories of those who need us the most. It is also the time that we remember our roots as an organization dedicated to healing a divided nation. As a Benevolent organization, let us show our communities through deeds of caring and concern, by conducting services open to the public, or by attending services together as a lodge. Remember to include our fellow Brothers
and Sisters of all faiths, their families, and loved ones in your prayers.
We ask the Supreme Ruler of the Universe to bless us and keep us, as we the Pythian Order work together in the Spirit of Friendship, Charity, Benevolence, and Love, to make our world a better
place for all.
In F C & B,
Michael B West
Supreme Prelate

Another fun annual family picnic at Fort Nisqually. A brother from another lodge (Odd Fellows) swung by to give us some KoP regalia from a lodge that was in Olympia a billion years ago that they had found in their archives.

As with all 5th Mondays of the month, we will have our online social Knight starting at 6 and going until about 7:30 pst. We will likely play a few different games, so having two screens or devices - one for the game and one for the online meeting is preferred. Comment below if you don't have the Google Meets link.
