On National Nonprofit Day, we want to say one simple thing: Thank you.

Because of the generosity of our donors, volunteers, community partners, sponsors, and supporters, AHAT Homecare is able to provide housing, healthcare access, and supportive services for people living with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C throughout Tacoma and Pierce County.

Every volunteer hour, every donation, and every act of support helps create stability, opportunity, and hope for the people we serve.

We are grateful to be part of a community that believes everyone deserves access to care, dignity, and a safe place to call home.

Thank you for helping make this work possible.

Supporting people living with HIV means supporting the whole person.

Housing and healthcare are essential, but emotional well-being, connection, and mental health matter too. That's why AHAT is preparing to expand mental health services for individuals who identify as living with HIV.

These services are designed to complement the housing, healthcare access, and supportive programs already available through AHAT, helping clients build stability, strengthen resilience, and feel supported every step of the way.

We believe everyone deserves care that recognizes the full picture of their health and well-being.

More information will be available soon. Stay connected for updates.

Two events. One mission.

As we look ahead to the end of the year, we invite our community to save the dates for two important AHAT events:

♥️Speakeasy at the Rust Mansion – November 2025
♥️World AIDS Day – December 1, 2025

The Speakeasy brings supporters together to raise funds that help sustain AHAT's housing and support programs.

World AIDS Day creates space for remembrance, awareness, education, and solidarity with individuals and families impacted by HIV.

Both events help strengthen our community and support the work that continues every day throughout Tacoma and Pierce County.

More information and volunteer opportunities will be shared soon. In the meantime, help us spread the word and save the dates.

At AHAT Homecare, we believe that stability is built through more than housing alone.

That's why we're excited to be working on new ways to support the people we serve. In the coming months, we will be expanding services through:

🚲A new nonprofit partnership that will help provide e-bikes for clients
♥️Expanded mental health services for individuals who identify as living with HIV

Reliable transportation can make it easier to attend medical appointments, get to work, access essential services, and stay connected to the community. Mental health support can help people build routines, strengthen resilience, and feel less alone on their journey.

We're excited about what these additions will mean for our clients and look forward to sharing more details soon.

A strong community starts with people who are willing to show up.

As AHAT prepares for upcoming outreach efforts and community events, we're looking for volunteers who want to make a meaningful difference in Tacoma and across the South Sound.

Whether you're helping at an event, supporting community outreach, or sharing our mission with others, your time and energy help us reach more people and strengthen the services we provide.

Community support helps our clients access housing, healthcare, life-skill development, transportation assistance, and other resources that promote stability and independence.

You do not need special experience to get involved, just a willingness to help.

Interested in volunteering with AHAT? We'd love to connect with you. Learn more at: www.ahathomecare.org

There are a few important dates on the horizon for the AHAT community, and we hope you'll save them now.

♥️Speakeasy at the Rust Mansion – November 2025
♥️World AIDS Day – December 1, 2026

While these events look different, they share a common purpose: bringing people together to support, honor, and uplift individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

The Speakeasy will help raise funds for AHAT's housing and support programs, while World AIDS Day provides an opportunity for remembrance, awareness, and solidarity.

We'll be sharing more details in the coming months, including ways to volunteer and get involved.

For now, mark your calendar and stay tuned. We look forward to gathering with our community later this year.

This Pride season, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and diversity of our community.

At AHAT Homecare, we are proud to support individuals living with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C through housing, healthcare access, case management, and supportive services that help create stability and opportunity.

Pride is a time to celebrate identity, belonging, and progress. It is also a reminder that access to safe housing, quality care, and supportive communities matters every day of the year.

We remain committed to helping people build healthier, more stable futures while treating every individual with dignity and respect.

Happy Pride from all of us at AHAT Homecare. 🌈
