Sports build confidence, but losses and setbacks can shake a kid’s belief in themselves. Coaches need tools to support our kids through those moments, on and off the field.

I shared my experience with stuttering as part of this conversation about youth mental health. Every kid deserves to feel heard, supported, and safe showing up as themselves.

From the football field to the classroom, democracy is a team sport!

Seahawks legend Marcus Trufant joined our Elections Outreach Team at Inglemoor High School to help 160 students learn about voting and civic engagement.

Through Washington’s Student Mock Election, students get to experience voting before they’re old enough to cast a real ballot. And yes, they even get an “I Voted” sticker!

Bring the Student Mock Election to your classroom! Learn more at sos.wa.gov/mockelection.

Repost: Seattle Seahawks Community Engagement

Champions on and off the field.

As we get ready to introduce the 2026 Team of Champions, we’re celebrating the community leaders who made up last year’s class and the impact they continue to make across the Pacific Northwest.

Thank You! ❤️

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all of our Facebook and Instagram friends, our new followers, and everyone who came out to support the Trufant Family Estate Sale.

(I would like to give a special shout out to my neighbor and new friend Elvis Ndungy. He volunteered to make the short video advertising the Estate Sale. He came in to buy items several times, then kindly and professionally asked to make a video. He created it and let me review it all in a matter of about an hour. Thank you Elvis).

Your purchases, kind words, shares, and encouragement made this event a tremendous success. We are especially grateful because a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Trufant Family Foundation, helping us continue serving our community and honoring the legacy and values that have always been so important to our family.

Thank you for your friendship, your generosity, and for being part of this journey with us. We truly appreciate each and every one of you.

With gratitude,

The Trufant Family 💙
