Puget Creek Restoration Society

Puget Creek Restoration Society The Puget Creek Restoration Society protects, enhances, and restores the Puget Creek Watershed and other streams, wetlands, and green spaces.

Puget Creek/Gulch is a 66-acre natural area in Tacoma's North End. One of only three salmon-bearing streams within the city limits. Now you have an opportunity to join in the ongoing restoration of this stream. Progress is already apparent. Coho salmon returned in autumn of 2000 and 2002 and again in 2003, with chum salmon also. Puget Creek Restoration Society represents a team effort of a wide va

riety of concerned citizens involved in the restoration, protection and enhancement of the Puget Creek/ Puget Gulch area of North Tacoma. Stop by and visit us!

We need your help! PCRS needs donations to resume our work to protect, enhance, and restore one of the 3 remaining native salmon streams and habitat in Tacoma.

Some of you are aware that we lost our new office location when the building was sold, and have been operating at minimum capacity while renting a storage unit. Donations are needed to help us pay for storage costs as we work to resume our hands-on research and restoration efforts in 2021.

Please use our PayPal link below for donations or contact us at [email protected] with any leads on affordable office spaces or storage options.

Thank you!

Transfer money online in seconds with PayPal money transfer. All you need is an email address.

HELP! We're in need of a new office space in Tacoma by the end of the month. We're looking for around 800 sq. ft. and can pay $800 per month. Contact us at (253)779-8890 or [email protected] if you can help!
Our current landlord had decided to rent to another tenant without consulting with us and we're fast approaching the deadline!

Let's all listen to some "Bluegrass Today for a Greener Tomorrow." One of our favorite local bands, Barleywine R***e, will be celebrating their 5 year anniversary with a series of three back-to-back shows around Tacoma: Tonight at the Swiss (7pm), Friday at B Sharp (8pm, $5 cover), and Saturday at the Spar (8pm). They have been generous enough to support the work that we do at PCRS by offering to donate the proceeds from their merchandise sales to our organization, so come out for a night (or three) of Bluegrass Today for a Greener Tomorrow!

We are celebrating our 5 year anniversary June 25th, 26th, and 27th with three benefit shows throughout Tacoma. We hope to see you there!
