We see a small part of the story. God sees the whole story.
“Why do bad things happen?” was the tough question we explored this week in LCKids.
We talked about how we live in a broken world affected by sin, and while some difficult things have clear causes, others leave us asking questions we can’t fully answer.
The good news? Even when we don’t understand what’s happening, we can trust that God is still good, still loves us, and is still working.  One big part of the lesson was helping kids understand that God sees way more of a BIG picture than we ever could... and we can trust in Him.
Our goal wasn’t to give simple answers to life’s hardest questions, but to help kids build a faith that can trust God even when they don’t have all the answers.
Keep the conversation going at home:
👉 Ask your child, “Have you ever had something bad happen that later turned into something good?”

Week Three of Tough Questions had us thinking about “Why did God create the Devil?” Wouldn’t have things been so much better with out evil? While God didn’t create evil, free will and steeping out of Gods purpose has lead to us experiencing less than His presence and goodness. But we don’t need to live in fear - God has authority over all!
Talk about it at home : Why do you think God gave us the choice to love and follow Him or not?

Can I trust the Bible?
That was the big question we tackled this week in LCKids as part of our Tough Questions series.
We discovered that the Bible is rooted in real history, real people, real places, and fulfilled prophecies. From archaeological discoveries to historical records and hundreds of fulfilled promises, there is strong evidence that the Bible is more than just a collection of stories.
Our goal isn’t simply for kids to know what they believe, but to understand why they believe it.
Keep the conversation going at home:
👉 Ask your child, “What makes someone trustworthy?”

This month in LCKids, we’re starting a brand new series called TOUGH QUESTIONS.
We’ll be exploring questions like:
• Is God real?
• Can I trust the Bible?
• Why is there evil?
• Why do bad things happen?
Our goal isn’t just to give kids “church answers,” but to help them build a faith that is thoughtful, strong, and rooted in truth.
