Happy Birthday Embla!!

It may look Swedish, but citrus decor in spring is a trend in Norway. Its mystery as to why. The blue was just coincidence! 😝

Prillar Guri Lodge also made a visit for the good of the order! They made a have a beautiful quilt to raffle off to raise funds for cancer baskets. There is limited tickets!! $5 per a ticket and winner will be drawn at Norway Day (no need to be present to win).

Also, I have to personally thank Katie Goettling; who spent her time helping us clean up along with the rest of the hostesses from this morning. She definitely contributed so much that I (Mai) had very few dishware left to clean and things to put away!! Mange Takk Kate!

Cookies are being baked today at mt. View lutheran church! Join us until 3, or drop off your Norwegian cookies to be boxed up for the festival at PLU tomorrow!

Glad Morsgdag!!

It's Morsdag aka Mother's Day, in Norway:) And these are the Norwegian words we use to say "mama" 👇

Mother's Day is celebrated in Norway on the second Sunday in February.
