We recently had the honor of serving at the Youth at Risk Conference at Endicott College — and walked away more inspired than we came.

A room full of people who dedicate their lives to youth and families. People talking about burnout, perseverance, gratitude, and how to keep showing up over the long haul.

Because the people helping others need encouragement too.

Please join later this month at the Tacoma Public Library for a meaningful community conversation focused on mental health, healing, connection, and support. This gathering will bring together community members, advocates, leaders, and families to create space for honest dialogue, shared experiences, and resources that help strengthen our community.

CARING ADULTS NEEDED:
In moments like this, presence matters.

This Tuesday morning, a few organizations are inviting caring adult volunteers to join us at Foss High School to simply show up with love — passing out donuts, water, and positive energy as students and staff arrive. No need to sign up, if you care and have time come volunteer for 30-minutes…a short amount of time but high impact.

🕊️ No speeches. No agenda. Just presence, care, and community.

🗓 Tuesday Morning
⏰ Students arrive: 7:45–8:15 AM
👥 Volunteers arrive: 7:20–7:30 AM

If you believe in our youth…
If you believe in showing up when it matters most…
If you believe a simple “I see you” can make a difference…

👉 We’d love to have you stand with us.

Let’s remind our students they are supported, valued, and not alone.

At Gray Middle School, this didn’t happen overnight.

This has been a 3-year journey—led by Dr. Stout and his incredible staff—of showing up, building trust, and believing in students every single day. 💙

From where Gray was… to now:
📈 #1 in the city academically
⬇️ Suspensions significantly down
⬆️ Student culture transformed

What you’re seeing from the PUSH Love Summit is the result of intentional, consistent work:

• Assemblies that speak life into students
• Welcome Back Gray Day—uniting community leaders to set the tone
• The PUSH Love Summit—leadership, identity, and exposure
• Daily presence—mentorship during lunch, connecting face-to-face
• Strong implementation of CharacterStrong
• A principal and staff who refused to give up on their students

Dr. Stout didn’t just talk about change—he led it. His team lived it.

This is what happens when leadership, staff, and community come together to love and believe in students in real time.
