As the school year comes to an end, we want to celebrate. All our youth are invited to celebrate and wrap up this year’s programs, all the fun and accomplishments we made this year, and we want you to help shape our programs when we start back up in the fall.

What Is Bullying?

BULLYING is more than rough comments or a mean joke. It’s about an imbalance of power where one person, or a group, uses strength, influence, or social leverage to hurt someone else repeatedly. This imbalance can be physical, verbal, social, or digital, and it often grows when the TARGET feels scared, isolated, or coerced.

What to do…

Speak up safely: If you witness bullying, intervene if you can do so without risking your safety, or seek help from an adult, teacher, or supervisor.
Support the target: Listen, validate their feelings, and help them access resources.
Document: Keep records of incidents, times, and what happened.
Seek help: Reach out to school staff, HR, or local authorities if there’s a risk of assault or ongoing harm.
