We applaud Rockwood Retirement Communities for bringing Spokane-area senior living and long-term care providers together for this important conversation.

By creating space to share lessons from the recent wildfires, learn from real evacuation experiences, and connect with local emergency-response partners, Rockwood is helping our entire provider community become better prepared. We are proud to partner with them on this timely and valuable event!

Rockwood Retirement Communities and LeadingAge WA are proud to host a Spokane Complex Fires Community Washout Event for the benefit of all area LTC retirement and care facilities.
Join us on Monday, September 28 at 1:00pm at Rockwood South Hill Event Center, 2903 E 25th Ave, Spokane, WA 99223.

This presentation will include overviews from Rockwood and Brookdale's evacuation processes. Other presenters will include Spokane County Fire District 9, Spokane Regional Health District, and NW Healthcare Response Network. This will be an important time for Spokane LTC communities to discuss lessons learned from the recent wildfires and further enhance their preparedness. Come listen and learn, and questions are welcomed.

There's nothing quite like connecting in person! We couldn't resist one last photo as our Summer Social came to a close on Timber Ridge at Talus' beautiful patio overlooking Issaquah. Another reason to love the Pacific Northwest.

A heartfelt thank you to Timber Ridge at Talus, Executive Director Heather Turner, and the entire team for their incredible hospitality. From the warm welcome and creative cocktails to the delicious appetizers prepared by the culinary team, every detail made for a memorable afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the afternoon. The laughter, conversations, new connections, and shared passion for serving older adults reminded us how valuable it is to step away from our busy days and spend time together.

We're already looking forward to bringing everyone together again for our next members-only social in November!
