The Browns Point Improvement Club wants to share a HUGE Thank You to the Browns Point and NE Tacoma community and to ALL 156+ volunteers who made another successful Salmon Bake happen!!! We literally cannot do this without YOU. 🫵
We served almost THREE thousand salmon dinners and ran out of 43 gallons of ice cream 🍦

Meet Native Artist Amy Coats. You can see her at the Salmon Bake !

My business is Blue Poppy Beadwork. I create earrings, necklaces, pendants, medallions, bolo ties, hats, lighter cases, and more. I also bead custom feathers, fan handles, and graduation caps for locals.

My current collection is inspired by my love of nature and color. I utilize shells and natural beads in my work. Anyone can proudly wear jewelry created by Native American artists. It is an honor to see people celebrating and supporting authentic Native creations.

IT’S SALMON BAKE WEEK! 🎉🐟 We’re officially in the home stretch, and there’s a lot happening in Browns Point this week as we get ready for the 2026 Salmon Bake!

The Browns Point Boat Launch will close Monday and remain closed through August 4th as we prepare for the event. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we get everything ready for Salmon Bake weekend!

🐟 SATURDAY, AUGUST 1 & SUNDAY, AUGUST 2 | NOON–8 PM
It’s time for the 80th Anniversary Browns Point Salmon Bake! Join us for alder-cooked salmon, live music, our raffle & silent auction, kids activities, art, food, drinks, community fun and so much more!

🚍 IMPORTANT PARKING + SHUTTLE INFO
There will be NO EVENT PARKING in Lower Browns Point, so please plan to use our FREE shuttle service!

Shuttles will pick up at:
📍 Browns Point Elementary
📍 Cliff House parking lot off Slayden
📍 Browns Point Town Center
📍 St. Matthew’s Church

Shuttles run Saturday & Sunday from 11 AM–8 PM, arriving approximately every 20 minutes. Look for sandwich board signs marking each shuttle stop.

💙 We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for one of Browns Point’s favorite traditions. After months of planning by our incredible volunteers, SALMON BAKE WEEK IS HERE!

Calling All Artist for the 2026 Salmon Bake Art Show
August 1-2nd 2026.

Join our community’s biggest biennial traditional Salmon Event and sell your art at the Salmon Bake in Browns Point.

With over 5,000 visitors across two days, this is a premier high-traffic opportunity for local creators and curators.

We are dedicated to highlighting
the arts, crafts, and vintage community.

Registration Fee: FREE for first table, 20$ for additional tables

Art Show Hours
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Optional Night Market Hours Saturday until 10:00 PM

Special Opportunities
Night Market (Optional): Extend your Saturday booth until 10:00 PM. High-traffic booths are available nearest to Beer Garden.

Interactive Art:
We are actively seeking Hands on art experiences in the model of a paint and sip for a paid interactive experience Saturday and Sunday afternoon and Saturday Evening
