2nd Cycle Tacoma's Community Cycle Center Our mission is to demystify and normalize bike riding as a part of daily life, and realize the bicycle as tool for personal and community empowerment.

On Saturday, June 20th, we hope you'll join 2nd Cycle for our annual TACOMA SOCIAL JUSTICE TOUR.

We'll begin our ride at 10am at 2nd Cycle and casually ride to Tacoma parks and landmarks. Along the bicycle route, we'll hear speeches from community voices, who will share stories and themes of: indigenous people, Black empowerment, police accountability, immigration law and justice, LGBTQ+ rights, Chinese reconciliation and several others.

We will offer registration on the day of the ride. However, we encourage you to pre-register on our website: www.2ndcycle.org/events

On Saturday June 20th, join 2nd Cycle for our annual TACOMA SOCIAL JUSTICE TOUR.

The ride will start at 2nd Cycle at 10am. We'll casually ride to Wright Park, then our second stop will be Tacoma Chinese Reconciliation Park.

At each stop, we'll listen to dynamic speeches about the history and current state of social justice in Tacoma. Check out the photos from last year's ride!!

On Saturday June 20th, 2nd Cycle will host our annual TACOMA SOCIAL JUSTICE TOUR.

This fun and informative bike ride will explore Tacoma's rich history of activism and social justice. First stop on the route will be Wright Park.

Join us this Thursday for the UWT Tweed Ride on the Prairie Line Trail (PLT) at University of Washington Tacoma from 12 - 2 pm!

We’ll meet at the PLT tables just below Metro Coffee before heading out on a fun and casual 3-mile group ride through downtown Tacoma to the waterfront and the Farmers Market.

In celebration of Bike to the Market Day, every rider will receive a $5 market token to grab yourself a treat while we explore the market together. Afterward, we’ll ride back to campus with an expected return time around 1:30–2:00 PM.

Tweed attire encouraged, good vibes guaranteed!

Last Thursday we kicked off our very first Slow & Sweaty social ride and it did NOT disappoint!

5 miles, good vibes, and a Frisko Freeze stop because obviously.
This is a no pressure, no pace, just bikes and good people ride. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just getting started, you belong here.

Slow & Sweaty rides every other Thursday all summer long. Next one is May 28th, see you there!

It's Bike Month and the Destiny Dozen riders just crushed a massive ride, but we're not done yet!

We set a goal of $5,000 and we are SO close. We're keeping donations open for the rest of May so you have until the end of Bike Month to help us cross the finish line.
$1,100 to go.
