What an amazing day yesterday was at our Tacoma property! The remodel is coming along and it was time to bless the walls. 💛

As prices for most everything continue to climb, family paychecks are increasingly unable to cover everything families need. Amara has been receiving more requests from families for assistance with groceries.

Did you know our youth development program’s free teen center on Wednesday afternoons from 2 – 5 pm is open at our temporary site at Gates High School during our big remodel? Youth ages 11 - 18 can come hang out with their friends at Gates at 4608 128th St E, Tacoma. 💛
Teens can participate in a variety of fun activities, like making music and songwriting, games, arts and crafts, sports, and they can get help with homework, college and job applications, scholarships, and resumes. Free snacks! Our teen center is staffed by our supportive Youth Development Specialists. 🎧🎤🏀🍎🍪🖌️

¿Sabías que el centro para adolescentes de nuestro programa de desarrollo juvenil —que ofrece actividades gratuitas los miércoles por la tarde, de 2:00 a 5:00 p. m.— está funcionando en nuestra sede temporal de Gates High School mientras realizamos una gran remodelación?
