For all who will attend the Symposium this Saturday: remember that lunch is not provided. Plan to bring food with you. There are food choices near campus but time is pretty short so bear that in mind please!
See you all in 2 days!

New at this year's Symposium!
This year we are offering students a chance to play before our clinicians and professionals, as a way of preparing for Solo/Ensemble contests. It is a way for students to get feedback from high level performers.
Anyone wanting this opportunity can fill out the registration form and select the area that offers this. For now, availability and schedule will be determined once folks sign up. Here's the link

Funding help for our Trombone Symposium

This is the first time we have reached out to our friends and fellow musicians about helping us fund our yearly event.

This will be our 4th year hosting this event. Our goal and mission is to provide quality instruction, mentoring and support for trombonists, but especially to our students of all ages. That is why we do not charge a fee for students (and their teachers). Each year we have gotten smarter at cutting costs but also have been helped by companies like Shires, Ted Brown and Mighty Quinn, plus several personal contributors.

While our sponsors pay for some of our guest clinicians, we (members of the Symposium) still absorb the other costs, such as other clinicians, and performers, food, etc ) Paying attendees make up about 20% of the costs and we are so grateful for that help too!

Want to help?
We have been given access to a new portal for people or organizations to contribute to our goal. The link is here: https://www.wagives.org/organization/Pacific-Northwest-Trombone-Symposium

If you know of any organizations that would help sponsor our event, or if you yourselves feel so lead, please consider using the portal above.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this or pass it along! ❤️
