This month, the Monarch Diaper Bank is celebrating its third anniversary of serving families at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma! 🧡🍼

Since piloting the program in the lobby of the Children’s Museum of Tacoma, the program has grown drastically to include diaper distribution at both the Children’s Museum at JBLM and once a month at Play to Learn sites. The generosity from our community has helped serve thousands of families with over 300,000 diapers, supporting the health, well-being, and dignity of young children in our community.

On Wednesday, August 19 we will have an opportunity to rally together to support this program once more. Thanks to the generosity of past and present Greentrike board members, all donations will be matched 2-to-1, tripling the impact of your gift for programs like the Monarch Diaper Bank! Consider making a gift at Greentrike.co/Diapers26 and help provide essential hygiene supplies for children who need them.

Can't be-leaf it's almost time for STEAM Night at the library! 🍃

Families, join us at the Tacoma Public Library: Mottet Branch 🌿 on Wednesday, August 19 as we explore different plants under a microscope, create our own dye from flower petals, create plant prints, and more from 4 – 5:30 p.m.!

In need of some diapering supplies? 🍼🧷

We're proud to host the Monarch Diaper Bank twice a week! Families in need of supplies are invited to drop in and pick up a free 5-day supply of diapers and wipes on Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. or Saturdays between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., and then enjoy Pay As You Will admission in the Museum!

Have some extra diapers in any size? Consider bringing them down to the front desk, and we’ll make sure that they’ll go to the families that need them! You can also visit the link in our bio to find out about other ways that you can support the Monarch Diaper Bank and help ensure that children in our community have access to clean diapers.
