🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED 🚨

A mother of four young children in Pierce County is facing immediate eviction after leaving a toxic relationship. She has no extended family, no safe place to go, and very little time.
Maison Femme is stepping in to help raise emergency funds for safe temporary housing, move in costs, food, transportation, and basic essentials for her and her children.
We are protecting this family’s privacy for safety reasons, but their need is urgent and real.
When a mother chooses safety, she should not have to face homelessness. Her children deserve a safe place to sleep, stability, and the chance to begin again.
Please donate today if you can. Every gift matters, and sharing this post can help us reach the people who are able to give right now.

Thank you for helping us show up for this family when they need community the most. 💜

The month of June often heralds significant changes, including altered school schedules, modified routines, shifting housing situations, and a mix of hopeful anticipation and uncertain expectations for the summer. Our latest blog post, 'Finding Stability During Seasons of Change,' explores why change can be particularly challenging for trauma survivors, strategies for establishing small pockets of stability, and ways caregivers can provide support during transitional periods. The journey towards healing can begin with incremental steps, such as adopting a consistent routine or having a supportive presence. At Maison Femme, we firmly believe that navigating change should not be a solitary experience. Read the full article here: https://www.maisonfemme.org/blog/amhksldjmzgahf983y2gd8k9ejrfed

This month, we invite you to check in on the people you love, speak about mental health with compassion, and help create a community where survivors feel supported, seen, and never alone

Healing Isn’t Linear
What Growth Really Looks Like After Trauma

Healing doesn’t happen in a straight line… and that’s actually okay.

Some days feel like progress.
Some days feel like rest.
Some days feel like starting fresh.

Every step is part of the journey.

Growth often happens in small, quiet ways — choosing yourself, setting a boundary, asking for support, or simply giving yourself grace.

Little by little, those moments add up.

This month’s blog is a gentle reminder that healing doesn’t have to look perfect to be real. Forward is still forward, even when the path curves.

Be patient with yourself. You are doing better than you think.

What Growth Really Looks Like After Trauma April often brings messages of renewal and fresh starts. As spring arrives, we’re encouraged to bloom, move forward, and leave the past behind. While growth can be beautiful, these expectations can also create quiet pressure — especially for those heali...
