Only 3% of Black-owned startups reach the stage of hiring their first employee. Project 2026 is designed to change that: starting right here, right now.

We’re excited to announce the official launch of Project 2026! Join us at The Wednesday Drop-In: happening every Wednesday at Peace Community Center (2107 S Ainsworth, Tacoma). Come for networking (5:00–6:00PM), stay for practical strategies and group work (6:00–7:30PM) designed to help you grow from solo-preneur to employer.

Parking is best in the side lot off South 21st: don’t stress about parking on the street!

Ready to turn your business into a job creator? We’ve got your back. Come through, build with us, and let’s grow big together.

Sometimes growing as a community means knowing when to pause. This Wednesday’s Drop-In at Peace Community Center is postponed, so we can return next week even more rooted and ready to support your business journey. Your drive, ideas, and growth matter: postponement isn’t cancellation! We’re here to keep showing up for Black-owned businesses in Pierce County, helping you move from solo-preneur to employer, step by step.

Need help before next Wednesday? Slide into our DMs or hit our site for resources: support doesn’t stop.

Let’s keep planting those seeds, because your growth can’t be put on hold. 🌱

Since 2022, Angel Davis and Doing It Does It have been much more than partners: they’ve helped root and branch our work at Black Collective Navigator. Together, we pull off packed events, fuel The Black Business Directory (website relaunch dropping soon!), and show up for each other every step. That’s how you turn connection into power: radical empathy and deep listening, straight out of “Never Split the Difference,” so our support hits where it’s needed most.

But we don’t stop at empathy: “The Sum of Us” reminds us, collective gains lift everyone. That’s the spirit behind Project 2026: guiding Black-owned businesses from solo dreams to teams of employees, all of us moving up together.

Come through to The Wednesday Drop-In at Peace Community Center! 5–6pm networking, 6–7:30pm group work. Park along S 21st (Between Cushman & Ainsworth) or right by the building.

You belong in a community that’s intentional about your growth.
