This week, the Tacoma City Council officially proclaimed June 2026 as Ride Transit Month, recognizing the essential role that public transportation plays in our community. The proclamation underscores the reality that public transit opens doors to jobs, education, and community spaces for the neighborhoods and residents who need that connection most.

As part of Ride Transit Month, we’d also like to invite our fellow riders and rollers to Ride Transit to Market Day on Thursday, June 11 at the Broadway Farmers Market. Head over to the Pierce Transit website for more info.
