Our iNaturalist BioBlitz has wrapped up, and the results are in: 2,885 observations and 910 species documented! 🎉

Huge thanks to everyone who got outside and contributed. Highlights from the campaign include sightings of a Yellow Pine Chipmunk, Cascade Timberline Grasshopper, Mountain Bog Gentian, Mountain Goat, Small-Leaved Blinks, and Turkey Tail.

This kind of community science helps build a real picture of the biodiversity around us, and we couldn’t have done it without our team. Thanks for taking part!

🌍 COMING SOON: We can’t protect what we haven’t mapped! This August, the Puyallup Watershed Conservation Land Trust is launching a massive community science effort, and we need your help.

From August 1–9, we are challenging residents in Orting, Buckley, Bonney Lake, Wilkeson, and Carbonado to help us map the biodiversity of the Carbon River Corridor. All you need is a smartphone!
