🙌🏽 WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN AM I STRONG! ❤️🙏🏽
📖 2 Corinthians 12:10 (KJV)
“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
There comes a time in our lives when we have to admit that we just don’t have the strength to do it on our own.
We get tired.
We get discouraged.
We get overwhelmed.
And sometimes, if we’re being truthful, we even begin to question why God is allowing us to go through so much.
Have you ever been there?
Have you ever prayed and prayed, but your situation didn’t change? Have you ever asked God, “Lord, how much more can I take?”
Sometimes we become so focused on asking God to change our circumstances that we forget to ask Him to strengthen us while we’re going through them.
BUT SOMETIMES THE MIRACLE ISN’T GOD TAKING YOU OUT OF THE STORM. SOMETIMES THE MIRACLE IS GOD GIVING YOU THE STRENGTH TO STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF IT! 🙌🏽
Paul understood something that we must learn today. His strength wasn’t found in his own abilities. His strength came from CHRIST!
He learned that even in suffering, even in disappointment, even in hardship, the power of God was still working in his life.
And somebody needs to hear this today:
Just because you’re struggling doesn’t mean you’re losing!
Just because you’re crying doesn’t mean you lack faith.
Just because you’re tired doesn’t mean God is finished with you.
And just because the enemy has attacked you doesn’t mean he has defeated you!
Sometimes the very thing you thought would destroy you becomes the testimony that encourages somebody else to keep going.
You may have walked through the fire, but look at you! You’re still standing!
You may have been knocked down, but by the grace of God, you got back up!
You may have lost some things along the way, but you haven’t lost the God who holds your future in His hands!
WHEN YOUR STRENGTH RUNS OUT, GOD’S STRENGTH NEVER DOES! ❤️
So today, stop measuring your future by your present struggles. Stop allowing your circumstances to convince you that God has forgotten about you.
The God who strengthened Paul is the same God who can strengthen you!
YOUR PAIN HAS NOT CANCELED YOUR PURPOSE!
YOUR STRUGGLE HAS NOT DESTROYED YOUR DESTINY!
AND YOUR WEAKNESS HAS NOT LIMITED GOD’S POWER!
Keep trusting Him. Keep believing Him. Keep walking by faith, even when you cannot see the way.
Because when you have nothing left to lean on but Jesus, you’ll discover that JESUS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH! 🙏🏽❤️
❤️ COME AND BE STRENGTHENED IN THE LORD! ❤️
Perhaps you’ve been carrying burdens that nobody knows about. Perhaps life has left you feeling weary, discouraged, or spiritually drained.
I want to personally invite you to come worship with us this Sunday at Chosen One House of Deliverance!
You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to pretend that everything is okay. Just come with an open heart and allow God to minister to your spirit.
There is strength in His presence, peace in His Word, and encouragement among His people!
