𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟳 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿!

The title sounds big, but the day‑to‑day of the job is often misunderstood. It’s a leadership role, not a “run every event yourself” role. The president helps set the year‑long calendar, supports the board, leads meetings, and keeps things moving. Our amazing board members plan the individual events and fundraisers, with generous help from volunteers across the school.

Working parents, stay‑at‑home parents, busy parents… they’ve all done this role successfully, and there’s a huge support network ready to help. And you don’t have to be a parent to serve — grandparents and involved members of the Lowell community are all part of the PTA.

One of our Lowell families tragically lost their home and everything in it in a recent house fire. Their loved ones have created a GoFundMe to support them as they navigate this incredibly hard time.

💙🎉 Huge shoutout to our amazing PTA Events co‑chairs, Paige Lozner and Nicole O’Hagan, for filling Lowell with the most beautiful handmade posters! From schoolwide events to a custom poster for every certificated staff member during Teacher Appreciation, they’ve brought so much color, joy, and love to our halls. We’re obsessed! 🤩

🎨✨ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. This event is full of beautiful student pieces, a gallery walk in the gym, ice cream sundaes outside, and the book fair will be open too.

📚 The Book Fair starts tomorrow and lasts all week!
Students will get to shop during library time, and they can also visit before/after school or during Art Night when an adult tags along. Lots of chances to find new favorites. 📖
