Our goal is to place pets in need in foster and forever homes, including dogs and cats. We want to match each pet with its perfect home by assessing the pet’s temperament, evaluating the potential foster and adoption home, and following up with the pet owner to ensure a healthy and enjoyable relationship between the owner and the adopted or fostered pet. ing a pet, please contact us. Those who foster are provided with pet food, crates, leashes - anything the foster parent needs to ensure a positive experience until the pet is adopted. We also provide basic education and training to the general public and to those who foster and/or adopt, so that our pets receive proper care in their new homes - and fewer need to be rescued.

Goofy is a 6 yrs old, overweight (160 lbs), Great Pyrenees who needs to be rehomed. She has been well-loved and too well fed. Her owner is an elderly woman whose husband passed away last year so she is selling her rural home and moving to a condo in the city. True to her breed, Goofy is a gentle giant and a good watch dog who barks at traffic and strangers going by her property, as well as hot air balloons rising into the sky. 😆 Goofy is suspicious of new dogs, but she is non-aggressive and gets along well with dogs that she knows. Update: Safe with Colorado foster to adopt....

Bubbles is a young (approx 2 yrs old), 32 lbs border collie. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter and in danger of being euthanized for space, Bubbles has been in foster with a family and is very sweet, but, true to her breed, has too much energy for them. She needs a home with active people who can keep her mentally and physically challenged. Good with other dogs... cats unknown. Might anyone be searching for a bonded pair? Lucky (husky mix approx 7yrs) and Milo (Shepherd mix approx 8yrs) lost their home when their owner was caught stealing and his motor home was confiscated. They have landed in a rural shelter where their chance of being seen is slim, but shelter volunteers tell us they are very sweet and social dogs! Both approx 65 lbs and neutered, they have done well with other dogs at the shelter and visiting kids who have met them. While Misty is shy at first, once she bonds and trusts her people she is such a sweet, happy, playful and loving girl. Once bonded Misty comes when called and has learned to "sit" on command. Approx 1-2 yrs old and 40 lbs, this mixed breed girl would love an active human to adventure with. She has done well with the cats in her foster home. Her main request is that she has another playful and friendly canine companion in her forever home. Paris has left the shelter and is settling into her Oklahoma foster home. This young, unique girl is approx 1yr old and 27lbs. Paris is happy and active!
