The jerseys are ordered for the Black Fly Mountain bike race in the ADK in June - honoring Qian Adams - who died in 2023 in a biking accident in the City of Syracuse - Qian was a member of b.i.k.e.-Syracuse and raced with NICA as a member. Our past members, and racing partners to Qian, are honoring and remembering Qian, by racing the Black Fly - 40 mile mountain bike race - in his honor. b.i.k.e.-Syracuse members Omar, Chomar, Ameen and Enmanuel, have been training for this race since November…..one of Qian’s favorite comments while racing was telling his racing partners - as he was passing- “on your left”…… and laughing as he went by……fond memories of a wonderful young man and a life taken too soon….we all hope that the wind is at your back, Qian,
where you are - and we will always remember……
