This weekend at the $10K Basketball Tournament, we are proud to honor and celebrate this yearβs scholarship winners for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to both academics and their communities. π
Our Brexialee Scholarship, awarded in the amount of $5,000, goes to Jeadi Higdon, a Corcoran High School graduate with an impressive 85 GPA. Jeadi is a recognized all-star football player and a true leader who gives back to his community by offering free haircuts to those in need. He will be attending college in the fall to continue his higher education.
The Building Dreams Scholarship, awarded in the amount of $1,000 each, goes to Edith Hill and Sanai Lee. Edith is a graduate of ITC with an 87 GPA. She was the varsity cheerleading captain, a high honor roll student, a participant in Fired Up for Youth, and a Blueprint 15 Youth Navigator. Edith will be continuing her education at college in the fall.
Sanai Lee, a graduate of Henninger High School with an 87 GPA. A talented varsity basketball player, Sanai is also a two-time $10K Tournament champion and MVP. She will be attending college this fall.
In addition to our scholarship honorees, we also recognized Paul Pendall as this yearβs Community MVP for his unwavering support and service. Paul has shown up year after year, volunteering his time without being asked, and playing a key role in the success of the $10K Tournament. His dedication has not gone unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for his hard work and commitment to our SHA community.
Please join us in congratulating Jeadi, Edith, Paul and Sanai on their outstanding achievements! Their determination, talent, and service to their communities truly embody the spirit of the $10K Basketball Tournament.
