Cny spaamfaa SPAAMFAA, The Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Motor Fire Apparatus in America began in Syracuse in 1958, the brain child of Dick Horstmann.

The Society's mission is to preserve the history of fire apparatus.

While you're in Syracuse for our Conference & Expo, stop by The Syracuse & Onondaga County Fire Museum. Housed in the historic former Engine Co. 4 station at 229 Wolf Street on the city's north side, the museum will be open Thursday, June 11 – Saturday, June 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The museum preserves the rich history of firefighting in Central New York, showcasing antique fire trucks, vintage helmets and equipment, and other historical displays.

Saturday may 16th at 9:30 am is the monthly cnyspaamfaa meeting.. all are welcome.. after the meeting we will be washing Bertha for a detail the following week.
