📸🎙️ Exposure creates possibilities!

Our One M.I.C. students stepped behind the camera and behind the mic for an Introduction to Photography & Podcasting workshop with S’Mari Photography! Youth got hands-on experience with professional cameras, lenses, lighting, posing and directing a live model—then explored the equipment and production that goes into bringing a podcast to life.

At Good Life, we believe young people can’t pursue opportunities they don’t know exist. Experiences like this are about more than learning how to take a great photo or record a podcast—they’re about exposure, confidence, creativity and helping young people see new possibilities for their future. Photography, content creation, podcasting and digital media aren’t just hobbies—they can become careers, businesses and pathways to ownership.

A huge thank you to S’Mari Photography for sharing your knowledge, your craft and your time with our young men. Every new skill, new experience and new connection expands what they believe is possible.

When we expose young people to more, we give them more to dream about—and more pathways to build the life they want. 💯

CSTEP Morrisville was in the building this past Friday.

Students and Staff received a tour with Shaun Mccarthy and then learned about Good Life Programming and GL Imprinting, and all the ways they can support.

Continuing to increase the number of our partners is always our goal and how we live and breathe our agency value of collaboration.

Several students will be volunteering with our street based youth and One MIC youth this fall. More to come!

2026 SUMMER ENTREPRENEURSHIP BOOTCAMP
From imagination → AI → their own comic book. 🔥📚🤖

Our young people got a chance to explore what happens when creativity, technology, storytelling, and AI come together.

During this hands-on experience, youth learned from Chris Cooley of Cooley Comics how to use artificial intelligence to develop their own personalized comic characters and begin transforming those characters into an actual comic book.

But this was about much more than making cool characters.

Our youth were learning how emerging technology can become a creative and entrepreneurial tool. Instead of simply consuming AI, we want young people to understand how to use it to create, tell their own stories, develop intellectual property, and potentially build something they can own.

That is what preparing young people for the future looks like: giving them access to the tools that are shaping the world—and helping them see themselves as the creators, innovators, and owners of what comes next.

A huge thank you to Ryan Williams, owner of RAW Consulting, SCAN (Syracuse College Attainment Network) and Allyn Family Foundation, Micron Technology for sponsoring and supporting this opportunity, and to Chris Cooley for sharing his talent and knowledge with our youth.
