📚 Grant Spotlight: A Book in Every Home, A Story in Every Heart 🌟📦

We’re honored to support the United Way of Greater Oswego County with a grant to strengthen their Imagination Library of Oswego County program — a life-changing initiative that delivers free books every month to children from birth to age five across our community.

In these early years, stories do more than entertain — they build brains, bond families, and plant seeds of possibility. By placing books directly into the hands of children, the Imagination Library ensures that every child, regardless of income or zip code, can grow up with the joy of reading and the power of language.

📖 Every book delivered is a quiet investment in a child’s future — one page at a time.

This grant is part of our 2025 funding round, made possible by donors who believe that literacy is love, and access is everything.

💛 To the United Way's Imagination Library team: thank you for putting stories — and futures — into motion across Oswego County.

We are proud to support The Desens House with a grant to fund substance-free social events — creating spaces where women in recovery can gather, celebrate, and reconnect with joy, safely and without stigma.

Recovery isn’t just about what’s left behind — it’s about what’s built in its place. These events offer a vital chance to experience belonging, laughter, and community outside of environments that may trigger relapse.

🎶 From dances to dinners, game nights to group outings, these gatherings are reminders that healing includes happiness — and that no one walks the journey alone.

This grant is part of our 2025 funding round, made possible by donors who believe that restoration is powerful, and joy is a form of resistance.

💛 To The Desens House: thank you for making space for recovery that’s full of life, love, and light.

🎁 Grant Spotlight: Holiday Meals with Heart 🕊️🍽️

We’re proud to support Christ Our Light & St. Anne Mother of Mary Parishes, Pulaski/Mexico, NY in collaboration with the Food Pantry of Mexico NY, with a grant to provide Holiday Food Boxes for families across the community.

For many neighbors, the holiday season can be a painful reminder of what’s missing — especially when food is scarce. These food boxes help ensure that families can gather around a table filled with nourishment, warmth, and the comforting sense of being cared for by their community.

This grant is part of our 2025 funding round, made possible by Oswego County donors who believe that everyone deserves to feel full — in body and spirit — during the holiday season.

💛 To St. Anne and the Mexico Food Pantry: thank you for wrapping this community in generosity and grace.

🚿 Grant Spotlight: Dignity in the Details 🧺🚻

We are honored to support the Rural & Migrant Ministry of Oswego County, Inc. with a grant to fund much-needed restroom and laundry facility upgrades — ensuring that the individuals and families they serve have access to clean, safe, and functional spaces.

For many, these are everyday essentials. But for those facing economic hardship, a clean restroom or a place to wash clothes is more than comfort — it’s dignity, health, and hope.

This grant is part of our 2025 funding round, made possible by donors who believe that every act of infrastructure is an act of compassion when it centers human dignity.

💛 To the Rural and Migrant Ministry: thank you for meeting practical needs with profound love.

🦃🍂 This Thanksgiving, We Are Grateful for YOU! 🍂🦃

At the Oswego County Community Foundation, we know that true abundance comes not from what we keep, but from what we give.

This season of gratitude, we’re thankful for the people who make Oswego County stronger every day — donors, volunteers, nonprofit leaders, and neighbors who care deeply about this community. 💛

🌽 Just as a Thanksgiving table is filled by many hands contributing, the health and vibrancy of Oswego County grows when we all come together to support:

Arts & culture that inspire us

Education that empowers our youth

Health & human services that lift up our neighbors

Civic engagement that strengthens our voice

Environmental stewardship that preserves our home

From our table to yours, we wish you a safe, warm, and joyful holiday surrounded by love, laughter, and gratitude.

⚡ Grant Spotlight: Powering Hope at the Phoenix Area Food Pantry 🥫🔌

We’re proud to support the Phoenix Area Food Pantry with a grant to upgrade their electrical infrastructure — a behind-the-scenes but absolutely essential improvement that helps keep this vital service running safely and smoothly.

While it may not be as visible as shelves of food or volunteer hands in motion, reliable electrical systems power the refrigerators that store fresh produce, the lights that welcome families, and the warmth that says: “You’re safe here. We’re ready for you.”

This grant is part of our 2025 funding round, made possible by local donors who understand that dignity in service starts with investing in the basics.

💛 To the Phoenix Area Food Pantry: thank you for nourishing your neighbors — and for doing it with care, consistency, and courage.
