It is with a very heavy heart, that I must report the passing of our club's oldest member. Tom Dudarchik passed away last night in Iriqouis Nursing Home, at the age of 94. He was a very good friend, member and mentor to all that knew him and I, for one, will miss him dearly. He has gone to join his wife Evelyn a d son Tom. RIP Tom.....😥

Just a "Heads Up".....If you are considering buying any bottles from Stephen Fox, he likes to cheat customers out of their purchase money and then lie, repeatedly, to them about the incomplete transaction. Just ask Pamela Frankham. She had to get her money back through PayPal after repeated conversations with him. Never did see the bottles, although he did relist them again before she got her money. Nice way to keep new collectors in the hobby.

I thought maybe some of the newer collectors might be interested in seeing a bottle "tumbler" at work. I apologize for the video quality, but I think you get the idea. This one is homemade and really rugged.....chain and sprocket driven and wired to a rheostat for variable speed. Tumbling is the only way to get the cloudy, stained glass back to transparent. With everything there is risk, however, as you always run the risk of damaging the bottle.

The Spring 2016 Bottle Show and Sale has a new venue. This year, due to Easter, the show will be Sunday April 3rd and will be at ( drum roll please) the Cicero American Legion located on Legionnaires Drive which is the first traffic light west of Route 11 off of Route 31. It's approximately one mile west of the four corners and is a right turn heading west. The hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and food will be available for sale. We hope to see you there at our newer and larger location.

Our 50th Anniversary Banquet was a great success. We had 58 people present including a representative from the Federation and three people from the National Bottle Museum. What a great night.
