With Twisted Trails 2026 now in our rearview, I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who spent your Saturday with us. It isn't lost on me that with the cost of fuel and competing events, you still chose to come out and support our efforts to raise money for a wonderful organization and for that all I can say is thank you, there wouldn't be a Twisted Trails with out you.
I would also like to thank our volunteers who put in long hours setting up, leading trail groups, cooking and tearing it all back down at the end of the day. There is no benefit for volunteering; these are club members who put in the time to make sure the event runs as smoothly as possible for no other reason then to make sure everyone attending has the best time up here.
I would like thank the companies that supported us by sending in raffle items, many of these companies have year in and year out. We wouldn't be able to raise nearly as much if it weren't for their donations.
And for the ride itself? the weather was perfect, there was the slightest hint of color change in the leaves and everyone who participated had a great attitude, I feel like this may have been one of the best in recent years.
I would love to see your pictures, we started a google album, you can join that and submit your pictures there or send them to us and we can upload them. https://photos.app.goo.gl/pZNGeA7Lpft5SF9z7
I would also love to hear what we could have done better. If you have an idea, feel free to dm us and let us know.
Finally there was pretty good interest in additional shirts, long sleeves and hoodie so we have decided to do a second run of shirts. We will run this order until 9/30/26, you can choose to have the shirt shipped to you or pick it up at our October meeting.
