It’s been quite a while since this page has had any activity. I will try to post a “What’s Up Project Healing Waters-Syracuse, NY Program ” when ever there is activity in the Syracuse program our announcements from National HQ.
The Syracuse Program meets every Friday from 10AM till Noon at Clearpath for Veterans, located at 1223 Salt Springs Rd, Chittenango, NY. Our resident fly Tyers Vic and Dave are very knowledgeable about fly tying and fishing waters around the world.
This past Friday Dave tied the isonychia dry fly with an educational tutorial on how it fishes and other material that could be used to tie this simple pattern.
This coming Friday Sept. 1st, Vic will be demonstrating the LeTort Hopper. A classic fly named after the LeTort Spring Run, probably the most famous trout fishing river in the world. Here is a link to that pattern from intherifle.com https://www.intheriffle.com/in-the-riffle-blog/letort-hopper
