🎉✨ May was full of fun, learning, and connection for our Little Ladies of Promise! ✨🎉

This month, our girls enjoyed an exciting trip to Dave & Buster’s filled with laughter, games, and unforgettable memories! 🎮💜

We also had the opportunity to join the boys mentoring group for an important Financial Literacy class, where our young ladies learned valuable lessons about money management, smart decision-making, and building a strong future. 💵📚

To wrap up the month, we enjoyed a relaxed evening of free time to play games, laugh, mingle, and continue building friendships and sisterhood with one another. Seeing the bonds grow between our girls is truly what Little Ladies of Promise is all about. 💕✨

April has been a month full of creativity, growth, and empowerment for our Little Ladies of Promise! 🌸✨

This month, our girls spread kindness beyond our walls by painting rocks with uplifting and encouraging words, which will be placed in local parks to brighten someone’s day when they need it most. 💕🪨

We also tapped into our creative side by painting beautiful vases and planting seeds—both literally and figuratively. As we planted seeds in our vases, we had meaningful conversations about planting seeds of confidence, positivity, and encouragement within ourselves. 🌱

To top it all off, our girls proudly presented their Women’s History projects, highlighting inspiring women and sharing what they’ve learned. Their voices, confidence, and knowledge continue to grow, and we couldn’t be more proud!

We are cultivating not only creativity, but strong, thoughtful, and empowered young leaders. 💫

March has been an exciting and empowering month for Little Ladies of Promise! 🌸✨

We’ve been diving into the importance of nutrition with the incredible Cassandra Bradford, MS, AGNP-BC, RN, learning how to make healthier choices and better understand how to care for our bodies from the inside out. 🥗💪🏾

In celebration of Women’s History Month, our young ladies will be researching and presenting on inspiring local women who are making a difference right here in our state. It’s will be powerful to see them connect with stories that feel close to home and realize the impact they, too, can have one day. 💜

We’re also so excited to be welcoming and getting to know our new Little Ladies! Watching new friendships form and confidence grow reminds us why this work is so important. 🌱

Little Ladies of Promise is continuing to cultivate a generation of strong, knowledgeable, and empowered young women—one lesson, one connection, and one experience at a time. 💫:

Learn to Swim is back at Huntington and Valley Pools this Spring! Registration begins at 4:00 p.m. this Thursday, March 5th for City of Syracuse residents, and 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6th for non-city residents.

Rise Above Poverty invites families in the community to register their child for its upcoming Reading Clinic. This program is designed to support the development of reading skills, increase student confidence, and promote sustained academic growth.

The Reading Clinic will take place from Tuesday, March 3, 2026, through Thursday, June 11, 2026. During this period, students will receive structured reading instruction and support from trained volunteers in a safe and supportive learning environment. The program focuses on improving reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and overall academic confidence.

Little Ladies of Promise is starting the year off STRONG! ✨💖

Over the last few weeks, our girls have been setting intentions with goal boards, building confidence in the pool during swimming, and enjoying an amazing visit to Dre’s Safe Place. From glow bingo and learning about emotions to releasing stress with plate breaking, every moment was filled with growth, laughter, and empowerment.

We’re so proud of these young ladies for embracing new experiences, expressing themselves, and stepping into the year with confidence and purpose. Here’s to a year of learning, fun, and limitless potential! 🌟👑

We started the month with a joyful celebration for our November birthdays! 🎉🎂

Our November classes were full of growth, learning, and celebration! This month, our Little Ladies dug deep into important lessons on peer pressure, respect, and responsibility. They shared real-life examples, practiced positive decision-making, and reflected on what it means to lead with kindness and confidence. 💕✨

Watching the girls uplift and support one another—both in learning and in celebration—was truly heartwarming.

We’re so proud of the young leaders they’re becoming. 💖

Our Little Ladies of Promise spent the month of October exploring career paths and getting creative with pumpkin decorating for the autumn season! From imagining their future goals to adding a little sparkle and paint to their pumpkins, the girls had a blast combining learning with laughter. 🌟
