We had a special visit today from Mayor Ben Walsh for Syracuse at Mosaic Christian Community Center. He stopped by to see the great work that is being done through PAL FC using soccer to develop young men into spiritual and community leaders. Grateful to Pastor Bhim and Pastor Ryan Cogswell for their leadership. Still can’t believe he played in a dress shirt and tie before going to a TV interview.

On Saturday, we hosted a pop-up clothing drive at the Mosaic Christian Community Center. It was an honor to meet the siblings featured in this article, along with many others who recently arrived here in Syracuse. Send us a message if you’re interested in being part of the effort to welcome our new neighbors.

The siblings are now living together on Syracuse's North Side.

One of our partners and local children’s ministry leader, Emily Ramsdell, has written a book and will be signing copies on Saturday Dec. 11 at 12pm in Syracuse. All proceeds from her book will benefit the work of Child Evangelism Fellowship in bringing the gospel to kids in our community.

Good News Club Volunteers from Grace Baptist Church were excited to present a bouquet and a gift card to Van Duyn Elementary School Principal, Mrs. Eva Williams, who has been named the 2021 New York State Elementary Principal of the Year by the School Administrators Association of New York State.

During the presentation, Mrs. Williams said, "We are grateful for Good News Club because prayer makes a difference in our school and we have seen the impact on the lives of our students.

Mrs. Emily Ramsdell who serves as the Local Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship said, "Mrs. Williams has led the way with her encouragement and was the flag bearer and cheerleader for getting the Word of God, not only in her school but also in other schools in the district."

As a pastor in this community, my heart's desire is to reach our children with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So our church is proud to sponsor this Good News Club and our hearts are filled with gratitude for Mrs. Williams because she has been very generous and supportive of our Good News Club that operates in her school.

She is more than deserving of this award from the state because she's truly one of the best. She loves her students and those who know her, know that being a principal is more than just a job for her, it's a calling! Grace Baptist Church is proud to stand with her! Congratulations Mrs. Eva Williams!!!🎉🎊🎉
