Sarah's Guest House Wishes Kim Snow a Fond Farewell and Thank You for 20 Years of Exception Service!!

After two decades of dedicated service, Sarah's Guest House would like to say "see you later" and thank you to Kim Snow as she begins her next chapter.

For 20 years, Kim has literally done everything imaginable at Sarah's Guest House. She has cleaned rooms, answered phones, checked-in guests, taken on-call shifts, stopped by on weekends, and became the person who knows every corner of the house inside and out. Most importantly, she has helped thousands upon thousands of guests find a sense of peace and comfort during some of life's most difficult storms.

Kim's kindness, reliability, and unwavering commitment have touched countless families and left a lasting mark on our organization. We will miss her deeply on Roberts Avenue.

Thank you, Kim, for 20 incredible years. ❤️

Registration is now open for our GOLF FOR OUR GUESTS Charity Tournament presented for the 9th consecutive year by CNY Family Care! This is an annual tradition that continues to grow each year! Plan ahead and secure your foursome early. We encourage you to gather your friends, colleagues, clients, and/or family members and spend a fantastic day on the course while supporting the families we serve at Sarah's Guest House.

A big thank you to these awesome students from Clary Middle School for choosing Sarah’s Guest House for their field trip!

The group spent the day giving back by preparing sandwiches, cooking a delicious meal for our guests, helping with yard work, and creating thoughtful cards for the families staying at the house.

We’re incredibly grateful they chose to spend their day with us. Their hard work made a real impact and helped make our guests feel welcomed, supported, and cared for.

Thank you, Clary Middle School, for making a difference!

Last week, we were treated to a wonderful meal provided by staff from Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. We are so thankful for their time, generosity, and interest in supporting our guests. They served a taco bar, which was a huge hit!

Sarah’s Guest House is saddened by the passing of longtime volunteer Linda Nguyen and wishes to express our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones.

Linda had been a dedicated volunteer at Sarah’s Guest House since 2018, regularly coming in to prepare meals for our guests. A member of the LAUNCH team, Linda joined David at Sarah’s Guest House when he became Executive Director and quickly became known as the “captain” of the LAUNCH meals. In recognition of her kindness and commitment, she along with others at LAUNCH received the Hospitality Champion award at the 2022 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.

Linda brought much joy to the house and to our staff through her sincere friendship. She was funny, rarely ever serious, and always making people smile and laugh.

We are deeply grateful for all she gave to Sarah’s Guest House, and she will be greatly missed.

Last week, we celebrated two of our three interns as they wrapped up their internships and prepare for graduation. Delaney Cummings and Marlow Litwin, both senior public health students at Syracuse University, presented their poster projects highlighting their research regarding healthcare hospitality homes.

Marlow dedicated her semester to our events, playing a key role in facilitating all things Gala-related. Delaney focused on Guest Relations - handling check-ins, reservations, and conversations with our guests.

Both played critical roles in our success since January, contributing to a record-breaking fundraiser and helping us serve 453 guests so far in 2026.

We are very proud of them and thankful for their time and talents.

We’re so grateful to have their team back at SGH helping us get our outdoor spaces ready. We love this partnership - thank you for making our home look beautiful. ❤️🌼

We are looking for volunteer drivers who might want to adopt the evening of:

-Tuesday
-Wednesday
-Thursday

These individuals would be responsible for picking up guests at 7pm from local area hospitals and returning them to SGH. While you "adopt" the day/time as your own - weeks may go by when no one may be in need of a ride. If interested, please email [email protected].
