YWCA of Syracuse & Onondaga County, Inc. Eliminating racism, empowering women & promoting peace, justice, freedom & dignity for all. at YWCA and YWCA Youth Soccer. Girls Inc.

The YWCA works to create an equitable community while providing a supportive environment for women and children to define their lives and thrive through programs and services dedicated to women's empowerment and youth development. We serve the needs of women through the Women's Residence Program, which provides supportive transitional and permanent housing for single women and mothers, including s

urvivors of domestic violence. We also support Syracuse youth ages 5-18 through two youth leadership and development offerings: Girls Inc. at YWCA is affiliated with Girls Incorporated, a national nonprofit dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. We provide research-based, informal education programs that promote social emotional learning, provide mentorship, and encourage girls to master physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges. The YWCA's two free youth soccer programs, Soccer for Success and the Syracuse City Futbol Community, enable students to learn and play, promote healthy lifestyles, and increase pathways to college.

Period products shouldn’t be a privilege.

We’re officially launching our annual Menstrual Product Donation Drive to help end period poverty right here in our community! No one should have to miss out on school, work, or daily life because they lack basic hygiene essentials.

Donations support our Girls Inc. at YWCA program participants through the summer months and during program all year long.
