We are excited to get back to soccer this weekend- please see minor updates made to game schedules (highlighted in yellow). Pre-K/K-1 teams were shifted so that you have different opponents-no change in times! Please also note a time shift for 6-8 highlighted in yellow for the weekend of 6/13.

We also want to remind everyone that there will be pictures this Saturday- please check your email or speak with your coach to verify picture times.

Looking forward to seeing everyone back on the field!

Memorial Day Parade Information 🚨

We are excited to share that Eastwood Soccer has been invited to march in the Eastwood Memorial Day Parade!

📍 Players should line up on Nichols Ave. in front of the Paine Branch Library around 8:30 AM.

🕘 The parade begins at 9:00 AM on Monday, May 25.

👕 Players should wear their soccer jersey.

The parade route travels approximately 1/4 mile west down James St. to the Greenway Veterans Memorial Park and concludes with a brief ceremony.

Parents are welcome to either watch the parade or march alongside us. Please note that we will not leave any child at the conclusion of the parade until we see they have connected with their parent or guardian.

🍬 We will provide candy for players to hand out during the parade!

We hope to see many of our Eastwood Soccer families there as we honor Memorial Day together!

Good afternoon, soccer friends and families!

A few quick reminders for this week:

⚽ Divisions K-1, 2-3, 4-5, and 6-8: Practices are OPTIONAL this week. Please check in with your coach if you are unsure about your team’s plans.

⚽ PRE-K: No practice this week.

⚽ All divisions: There will be NO games this week.

We hope everyone has a safe, restful, and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend!

Good morning soccer friends and families,
Week one is now in the books! We hope everyone is starting to feel a little more familiar with the fields and where to be on game days.
We’re excited to share that pictures will begin this weekend! Picture stations will be located midway down the path toward the golf course, and we will have staff available to help direct families as they arrive.
Here are a few important Picture Day reminders:
Please be at your field 15 minutes prior to your scheduled picture time slot.
If your player is unavailable for the team photo, the photo will be taken without them.
If a player arrives too late for individual photos, the photographer may ask you to attend the make-up session on the 30th.
Order forms will be handed out at practices tonight and Thursday, and additional forms will also be available on site.
The photographer can accept cash, Venmo, and Cash App payments.
Please check your email for the full photo day(s) schedule.
Additional Game Day Reminders:
This weekend’s weather looks great! Please remember to dress your child in layers so extra clothing can easily be removed as temperatures warm up.
Please send your child to the field with a water bottle.
On the Pre-K field, parents may place chairs behind the white painted line and may stand at the ends of the field. This helps keep the game fields clear and prevents damage to the baseball field.
For the larger fields, parents are not permitted on the track.
We appreciate everyone continuing to follow these guidelines, as they help us ensure the safety of all players.
Our concession stand will also be open and available for all your snacking needs!
While we may not always be able to resolve concerns directly on game day, we always encourage parents to email the board so we can follow up promptly at [email protected].

Soccer friends and families!!! ⚽️

We made it to GAME DAY! We are so excited to see everyone this morning, and the weather looks perfect for a great day of soccer!

A few important reminders before heading out:

• Please double-check the schedule for your game time (posted on Facebook and emailed).
• Make sure your child brings water, and has it with them when we head to the field.
• If your child may need extra layers, we recommend a tank top underneath for our younger players so coaches can easily help remove cold-weather layers if needed.
• Bathrooms are near the concession stand we encourage bathrooms before the game starts. Coaches will try to make contact with a parent before having a younger child run over. If we can't locate a parent we have field staff to walk with them over.
• Make sure your child has shin guards. Cleats are recommended.
• Coaches will be wearing Carolina blue coach shirts.
• Staff members will be in maroon hoodies or red tie-dye shirts.
• Spectators are not permitted on the fields. This helps us ensure player safety and keep games running smoothly.

Lastly, our concession stands will be open, so stop by for a drink or a treat! All concession proceeds directly support league operations.

It’s that time of year for Eastwood Youth Soccer registration!! 🙂⚽️ This year the program will include two (2) in-person registration events at luv handlz, or you can choose to register online March 4 - March 24. The cost per player is $65, or $60 per player if you have more than one child playing.

This is a co-ed league starting at age 3 years (must be 3 by May 1) up to 8th grade.

In-person registration:
Dates: March 3rd AND March 24th
Where: Luv Handlz located at 2500 James Street, Syracuse, NY 13206
Time: 5-8 pm

Luv Handlz will donate 20% of all purchases during the on-site registration events to Eastwood Youth Soccer League Inc.

Online Registration:
Dates: March 4 - March 24
Once you finish the registration form you will be sent directly to payment. You must submit payment in order for your registration to be complete.

REGISTRATION BONUS: Registered players will be eligible to win raffle gift cards for Luv Handlz
