Ann was a active, valuable member of the Updowntowners of Syracuse for many years. Her commitment to our community showed in everything she touched. We deeply mourn her loss along with so many others. Our sincerest condolences go out to her family and friends.

Even though Ann Barnes died on Friday, Reverend Bob Langston asked the more than 200 attendees at her party to pretend she was sitting in the front row. And in a way, she was, the reverend said.
