Session 2 of our Healing Through the Arts: Clay Experience began with something just as important as creating: connecting.
We started in a circle because connection has no beginning or end. Families gathered to check in, listen, share, and simply be present with one another.

Assistant professor Rochele Royster has spent much of her life fostering students’ wellness through art. Along with working within the art therapy program at , Royster also provides studio sessions to the public as a space to explore mental health through the lens of creativity.
