CNY Film Professionals is a non-profit designed to grow the capacity, economic sustainability, and inclusivity of the film, television, commercial, and new-media production industry in Central New York. CNY's film production industry is seeing some exciting action. We have one of the most generous tax incentives in the world. We have high-end film production facilities. We have architectural and
geographical diversity. We have four whole seasons. And we're just a 2-hour flight from NYC, Boston, Toronto, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. To fully realize our region's potential, CNY Film Professionals is training workforce and aggregating resources to properly service this industry. WHAT WE DO:
CNY Film Professionals operates the Syracuse Film Office website - SYRfilm.org. CNY Film Professionals helps production companies find the crew and resources needed for their projects. CNY Film Professionals offers job training, career-building, professional promotion, notifications of job opportunities, and industry-related events. To achieve sustainable economic development in this sector, CNY Film Professionals has built an alliance of regional personnel and organizations involved in the industry.
