Individuals who are nominated, but not selected for induction, will remain on the ballot for up to five years before they have to be re-nominated.
When reviewing the Nomination List (link on our website), please note the nomination year. Individuals who are listed with a 2021 nomination year will be removed if they are not re-nominated before November 30, 2026.

Dave Giusti, the All-Star and World Series champion closer who found a second career out of the bullpen with the Pirates, passed away on Sunday in Pittsburgh. He was 86 years old. Giusti pitched 15 years in the Major Leagues from 1962-77, debuting with the Astros before eventually playing for

Nottingham High School recently named its gym in honor of the late Willetta Spease (Class of 1995), a place she became one of the winningest girls basketball coaches in the state.

*Believe in and support the mission of the GSS HOF
*Bring a knowledge of accomplished athletic individuals and teams throughout the greater Syracuse area
*Possess skills in leadership, finance, fundraising, marketing, or community engagement
*Think strategically and work well with others
*Can commit time for meetings, events, and initiatives
*Are willing to monetarily support our largest event of the year, the GSS HOF Induction Ceremony and Dinner
*Act with integrity and in the organization’s best interest
