Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and the many women who show up for their communities, families, and each other every day. 💜💚

Women have always been builders of connection, caregivers of community, and leaders of change. Yet too often, they carry the weight of the world while putting their own mental health last.

At Safe Space, we believe wellness means having a place where women can show up exactly as they are — strong, tired, hopeful, overwhelmed, joyful, or healing.

This Women’s History Month, we honor the women who have come before us, the women leading today, and the women who are still learning to give themselves permission to rest, ask for help, and be supported.

Because caring for your mental health isn’t weakness.
It’s wisdom. 🌿

On March 6, Safe Space CNY is teaming up with the Syracuse Crunch for a night where every ticket gives back.

For just $22, you’ll catch the Crunch vs. Penguins and help fund peer-led mental health support in Central New York.

Today, Vera House and Safe Space Organization shared our new 12-week support group for women impacted by domestic violence and non-physical abuse on Bridge Street.

This group is a private, trauma-informed space for women who are:
• currently in a relationship impacted by abuse
• or healing after leaving one
