Voter Registration by Day. Candidates Forum by Night.

Members of the Syracuse Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. spent the weekend making an impact by conducting voter registration and voter education at All Saints Catholic Church.

The next day, we joined the Meet the Candidates Forum organized by the Syracuse NAACP to stay informed and engaged on issues affecting our community.

Every vote counts, and every opportunity to educate and engage voters helps strengthen our democracy.

Members of Syracuse Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., proudly hosted a Voter Registration Booth, helping parents and guardians get registered, updated, and prepared to vote at the 2nd Annual Back to School Glow Up, organized by our very own SAC member Allia Abughoush.

The purpose of this event was to serve children and families experiencing poverty, homelessness, and other barriers by helping them prepare for the upcoming school year with confidence. Students received school supplies, and volunteer barbers and stylists provided free haircuts, quick braids, and loc retwists so they can start the year feeling their best.
