The ladies of TOS invite you to join us for our Breast Cancer Awareness Prayer Brunch. 💐💛

As we honor the legacy of Soror Hattie McDaniel and all those whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer, we’ll gather in faith and fellowship to uplift survivors, support those still fighting, and remember those we’ve lost.

The ladies of Theta Omicron Sigma stand with survivors, honor those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence, and remain committed to promoting safety, healing, and healthier communities.

Domestic violence can take many forms—including physical, emotional, psychological, financial, and digital abuse. This month, we encourage our community to know the signs, check in on those we care about, and share trusted resources.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💕💛

This month, the ladies of Theta Omicron Sigma honor the survivors, remember those we have lost, and stand in support of everyone whose life has been impacted by breast cancer.
We also honor the legacy of our beloved Soror Hattie McDaniel, whose passing from breast cancer helped inspire Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.’s continued commitment to cancer awareness and women’s health.

Through our Women’s Wellness Initiative, we remain committed to promoting education, encouraging early detection, and bringing greater awareness to health concerns impacting women—especially women of color.

This month and beyond, we celebrate strength, encourage awareness, and continue working toward a future with more survivors. 💗

Last month, the Theta Omicron Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. proudly supported local youth through our national program, Operation Big Book Bag!

In partnership with Syracuse Reads, Roberts Elementary School, and the Theta Omicron Sigma Philo Affiliate, we helped provide students with backpacks and essential school supplies to start the school year prepared and ready to succeed. ✏️📓

Thank you to our partners, Sorors, Affiliates, and everyone who donated and helped make this initiative possible. Together, we’re continuing to build futures, one backpack at a time. 💙💛

On Saturday, TOS Sorors traveled to Niagara University for the annual Area V Meeting! 💙💛

Our time together gave us an opportunity to gain new insight, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections with Sorors throughout Area V. We’re returning to Syracuse refreshed and ready to turn what we learned into action as we continue building, serving, and advancing the work of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. ✨

A huge thank you to SGRho - Eta Rho Sigma Chapter for hosting a wonderful meeting and to our undergraduate Sorors of Buffalo State SGRho & Ub Poodles for their hospitality and helping make the day a great experience! 💙💛
