Syracuse Polish Community Foundation, Inc. All contributions are tax deductible. We promote Polish culture through educational programs, historical archives, and organizing other cultural events.

A non-profit 501c3 corporation to raise awareness of the value of Polish culture and heritage, and to complement the Syracuse Polish Home which was founded in 1919. Our mission is to raise funds to raise awareness of the contributions of the Polish immigrants and Polish-Americans to the greater community.

Syracuse Polish Festival Volunteers Thank You Picnic!

Thank you for volunteering at the 2026 Syracuse Polish Festival! Your time and efforts helped The Polish Scholarship Fund raise money for scholarships for students of Polish descent.

To show our appreciation the Polish Scholarship Fund Board of Directors would like to invite you to their annual "Thank You Volunteers Picnic" on Sunday, August 9th at the Bayview Shelter at Onondaga Lake Park starting at 2pm.

The invitation is attached and below are the directions.

Directions to Bay View Shelter, Onondaga Lake Park:

Willow Bay Entrance -3858 Long Branch Rd, Liverpool, NY 13090

Parking: Available in the main Willow Bay parking lot, situated within short walking distance of the shelter.

NYS Thruway coming from East or West: Take Exit 38. Go left on route 57 North. Take a left at the 3rd traffic light onto Longbranch Road. At the next light (Rte. 370) continue straight through the light. Turn left just before the bridge into the Willow Bay area of Onondaga Lake Park and proceed into the parking lot. The Shelter is on the water, to the left, near the restrooms.

From 81 heading North – take Liverpool exit onto Rte 370 (Onondaga Lake Parkway) through the village of Liverpool. Turn left onto Longbranch Road. Just before the bridge left on Willow Bay Park and proceed to the parking lot. The Shelter is to the left, near the restrooms.

From 81 Heading South – take exit at 7th North St. Take right onto 7th North and proceed to the end of 7th North St. to Electronics Parkway. Take Left on Electronics Parkway. Turn right onto Old Liverpool Road. At Heid’s Hot Dog Corner turn right and veer left onto

Rte. 370 through the village. Turn left onto Longbranch Road. Just before the bridge turn left onto Willow Bay Park and proceed to the parking lot. The Shelter is to the left, near the restrooms.
