We are still beaming with joy from how great ScoutPower 2026 was! We are proud to share that we raised over $625k to go towards creating more amazing Scouting opportunities for our youth. We can’t wait to do it all again next year and hope to see you all there too!

Thank you Dr Warren Hilton, County Executive Ryan McMahon, and Don McPherson for joining us for this wonderful evening!

🚨EXPIRED = Youth Protection Training (YPT) on May 31, 2026🚨
🚨OVERDUE = The new Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT)🚨

Youth Protection Training (YPT) has been replaced by the new Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT). Every registered leader must have taken SYT by May 31, 2026, to continue to participate in Scouting.

Failure to have taken the course means:
⛔Suspension of your account
⛔No access to Scoutbook Plus
⛔No participation in unit activities as a leader (including meetings, outdoor activities, service projects, summer camp, etc.)

💻Once completed it can typically take 24-48hrs for the course to show on your account.

⚠️If you have not taken the NEW SYT full 90 Minute course, you MUST TAKE THAT FIRST before you can take the refresher to get full SYT credit.

Had a successful Beaver Weekend at Camp Woodland! Many amazing volunteers came to help us prepare camp for the summer. We are even more excited for all the summer fun we have planned for our Scouts. 😁

We stay on the trail and focus on staying safe. But it’s hard to not zone out and enjoy the feeling of the outdoors and a beautiful hike. 😊

Last week at ScoutPower, we shared the amazing opportunity to continue the support of Chancellor Syverud and Dr. Chen of the Scouting community with his absence at this year's event. So far, we have raised over $2,000 for the campership endowment created in their honor. This endowment gives kids an opportunity to participate in one of the biggest fundamental opportunities in the program; camping.

If you were unable to attend the event but wish to contribute to the Chancellor Kent Syverud & Dr. Ruth Chen Campership Endowment, you can do so by visiting https://igfn.us/form/7V8RTw. No donation is too small.

Join us for a week of learning and traveling down the Eagle Trail! This intensive week at Camp Woodland is designed to help scouts master core skills, develop leadership, and complete critical requirements on their path to Scouting's highest rank. Scouts will have the opportunity to work on and earn the following Eagle-required merit badges: First Aid & Emergency Preparedness, Cooking & Camping, Sustainability, Communication, Citizenship in the Community, Nation, and World, Personal Fitness & Personal Management, Family Life, Hiking. In addition to merit badge instruction, 5 guest speakers will join us throughout the week to share invaluable real-world leadership insights, career mentorship, and expert advice on planning your Eagle Scout Service.

⚠️ Important: Review Prerequisites Before Attending. Please see the prerequisites that need to be completed prior to the week of camp. Several of these advanced merit badges require independent work, observations, or long-term tracking (such as 90-day logs for Personal Fitness, Family Life, or Personal Management) that cannot be finished at camp alone. Review your registered badge requirements early to ensure you arrive prepared!
