The Angelic and talented Stacey Lynn Cripps who was a presenter at the Helping Parents Heal Conference in Arizona this past week captured the beauty and essence of all of our kids in Spirit! In one amazing photograph ……

It was a week where parents bonded and knew they weren’t alone. 800 children’s pictures flashed across the screens in the Conference Center - each child just so beautiful in their own way.

John & I went with our Long Island Affiliate Group and also led another group called “Parents of Children who passed in College”.

We understand each others pain and our new purpose. It was a week full of healing and Hope for our future.

We are on our way home and looking forward to planning our 4 th Annual Charity Event for the Sabrina Navaretta Memorial Foundation set for November 7 th.

Mission Statement

The Sabrina Navaretta Foundation celebrates and carries forward Sabrina’s legacy of kindness, compassion, and dedication to others.

Our mission is to offer comfort, connection, and guidance to parents and siblings navigating the devastating loss of a child, providing support and reminding families that they never have to walk this journey alone.

Sabrina cared deeply about environmental preservation, animal rescue, and strengthening the community around her. In her honor, we have sponsored the harvesting of oyster seeds in Oyster Bay, supported animal rescue organizations and events, and continue to give back to causes that reflect the values she held so deeply.

We also empower high school graduates who embody Sabrina’s spirit through scholarships designed to inspire hope, purpose, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference. The Foundation proudly offers four scholarships:

* The Sabrina Navaretta Memorial Scholarship
* The Syosset High School Dog Rescue Scholarship
* The Sabrina Navaretta Syosset Fire Department Junior Firefighter Scholarship
* Nassau County High School Hockey League Scholarship

Through these efforts, we honor Sabrina’s beautiful spirit and continue the mission she embodied every day: to make the world a more caring, compassionate, and connected place.
