On April 28th Worth Lodge 194 partnered with Ruth’s Cottage and The Patticake House and Worth County Family Connections and together hosted a training to bring awareness to Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children.
This was a 2 hour training focused on the statistics here in Georgia, how agencies are fighting against the commercial sexual abuse of children, how those survivors are being served, and how to notice potential signs early on to prevent.
In attendance were representatives from our District Attorney’s Office, local Law Enforcement, Department of Family Children Services, Medical, Mental Health, Community members, and Lodge members. This training offered CEU hours and Post hours to all participants.
