BFHS Bark in the Park Festival

BFHS Bark in the Park Festival BARK IN THE PARK is BACK!!!!~ Mark your calendar for September 23 & 24. Friday evening a DJ and a movie will provide entertainment.

Saturday morning begins with the VETS & PETS 5K RUN and a variety of food choices and entertainment running until 4:00pm! Bark in the Park is a festival originally imagined as a fundraiser for the BFHS Shelter. It didn’t take long before the BFHS realized it was so much more. It is an event:
Where you will see your neighbors & their families along with their pets
Where your companion anima

ls are welcome & you can adopt a new Best Friend
Where you can compete in a Run and support both BFHS & the American Legion
Where there are dozens of activities for your kids & your dogs
Where you will find food vendors and arts & craft vendors selling their wares
Where you can see demonstrations & listen to music
Where your pet can have a health check by a vet & get a nail clipping
Where you can have your pet micro-chipped
Where you can discover just what BFHS does & how you can help
… And it is a major fundraiser for BFHS

The Doggie in the Window contest opens Sept. 3 and will end on Sept. 23 noon!! Registration deadline is Sept. 16.

Join the fun getting ready for Bark in the Park by decorating the windows or the front of your business to show what a "dog gone good time" will be happening at the festival this year! We can't wait to see what creative ways you display your "doggie in the window!"
