Screven County Community Collaborative, Inc. Our organization functions by partnering with agencies, organizations, and individuals to improve the lives of children in Screven County.

Our organization functions by partnering with agencies, organizations, and individuals to improve the efforts in our community and to reach more people who could benefit from additional support. We provide services, and programs that encourage our children to become healthy, educated, and responsible adults. Some of our projects include: “Rolling for Kids” Mobile Technology Bus, children’s mentori

ng program, “Buddy Ball”, child abuse prevention services, after school “Resource Room”, and Red Ribbon Week. Our goal is to bridge the gap between education and home; with the hopes of empowering our children to care about and take control of their education.

International Overdose Awareness Day | August 31, 2026

The Screven County Chamber of Commerce is proud to support our Chamber member, the Screven County Community Collaborative, Inc., as they recognize International Overdose Awareness Day on Monday, August 31.

Every life lost to an overdose represents someone’s child, parent, spouse, sibling, friend, or neighbor. This important day gives our community an opportunity to remember those we have lost, support those in recovery, and show compassion to the families whose lives have been impacted by substance use disorder.

💜 We encourage our Chamber members, local businesses, schools, churches, organizations, and community members to join us in wearing purple and helping us Paint Screven County Purple!

Through education, prevention, recovery support, and open conversations, we can help reduce stigma, connect individuals and families with resources, and work together to prevent overdose deaths.

We are grateful for the work of the Screven County Community Collaborative and their commitment to creating a healthier, more informed, and more compassionate Screven County.
