The Faithful Fabricators produced our first Toddler Mobilty Trainer (TMT) this evening based on the excellent design by . This one is headed to and we can't wait to drop it off! The TMT is fully 3D-printed with only 6 additional components (velcro pads, 6 bolts, 4 bearings, washers, lock nuts, front/rear casters for stability). The print files and build plans are completely free. Check out MakeGood's site 3dmobility.org for more details on how to request a TMT or to become a maker!

Dropped off two units of the v2 iteration of our Adapted Pie Face to this morning. We appreciate the feedback provided that led to these design improvements which will make battery maintenance much easier down the road. Happy to produce additional units with partner organizations who can help us get these into the hands of families and users! The final cost of all components in this kit is under $15 (battery included). Also completed our first plush toy adaptations by integrating a lead plug from the toy's circuit board. On to our next projects!

I really enjoyed my recent visit to - wonderful and thoughtful hosts! Learned about the impact and breadth of services offered by this great organization with over 75 years of supporting our community and I was able to share our story and skills/services we can provide. Their new accessible playground is impressive! I enjoyed seeing the collection of adapted toys and devices (including this nerf gun) and interacting with the staff and those served by Sunshine. Looking forward to partnering with Sunshine staff on device and toy adaption needs that the Faithful Fabricators can support! Special thanks to Audrey for coordinating the event!

Remote Tally Light system for the rover camera volunteers at designed to be powered by the 12-14V DC power supply of the camera via a dtap connector. Using a buck converter to step the voltage down to about 5V as input a raspberry pi zero w. A USB hub allows the blink1 light as well as a stronger wireless NIC to be added. We're using the TallyArbiter system by Joseph Adams to connect with our BlackMagic system to allow camera switching actions by the broadcast director at the board to be visible on the cameras.
