Service Committee: Being the largest division within NHS, it strives to organize and execute one major service pro
ject each month, varying from local volunteering to national/international fundraising. Flower/Sucker Committee: This group organizes the Valentine's Day Flower and Sucker Sale, a service provided to Southview parents and students each year where buyers purchase personalized flowers and/or suckers for delivery. This is the major fundraiser to support NHS activities and usually raises upwards of 2000 dollars per year. We-Be-NHS Committee: This group maintains the NHS board and works to paint the picture of NHS to the rest of the community. It includes photographers, program makers, and decorators for the board. Induction Committee: Made up of the officers and others as needed, this group coordinates the inductions of new seniors and juniors to the society during the year. T-Shirt Committee: This group designs and orders the T-shirt that will be worn by NHS members at events for the entire year. Open House Committee: This group manages tours and presentations for incoming eighth graders, their parents, and parents of current students during the various open houses showcasing Southview each year. Luncheon Committee: This group organizes the Teacher/Student Luncheon, held every May. The luncheon aims to connect teachers and upperclassman in conversation and fellowship, fostering mutual respect and a healthy learning environment. Food Committee: This group provides all food and/or drink items needed for NHS events. Website Committee: This group manages and renovates the official website for efficient and eye-friendly viewing and downloading. Rules Committee: This temporary group revises and articulates the by-laws within our constitution.
