❀️ Grant Impact Story: Life Saving Equipment for Our Schools

We’re proud to share that funding has been secured through the Post Rock Healthy Living Fund to provide new AED machines throughout USD 299 and USD 298. These updated units will replace older equipment and allow additional AEDs to be placed in key locations across both districts.

Having AEDs readily available can make a critical difference during a cardiac emergency. This investment strengthens the safety of students, staff, families, and community members who walk through our school doors every day.

This grant ensures our schools are better prepared, better equipped, and better protectedβ€”because every second matters when a life is on the line.

πŸ’™ Honoring Local Veterans, One Quilt at a Time πŸ’™

Thanks to a grant from the Post Rock Community Action Fund, the Lincoln Quilt Guild is carrying out a heartfelt mission inspired by the National Quilts of Valor program.
Their goal is simple and deeply meaningful: to create a handmade quilt for every veteran living in Lincoln County.
The Lincoln Quilt Guilds apx. 12 members have embraced the belief that their quilts are meant to offer warmth, comfort, and a reminder that this community stands behind its veterans.
This project is a beautiful example of what local generosity makes possible. It’s neighbors honoring neighbors, one quilt at a time.

Since 2023, the Patterson Family Foundation has been partnering with the Post Rock Community Foundation through matching dollars and the results have been incredible.
To date, $66,320.64 has been granted back into our communities, supporting 19 different projects across the area!
One of the largest grants helped fund the Safety at the Playground – USD 298 Playground Resurfacing Project. And the impact has been truly meaningful:
